About Our Digital Imaging Services
- Bite-Wing – Provides a visual of the upper and lower posterior teeth. This type of imaging is typically used to see whether the teeth are in line with one another and if there is any decay in the back teeth.
- Occlusal – Shows the floor of the mouth to get a better idea of the bite of the upper and lower jaw. This type of X-ray is commonly used in pediatric dentistry to showcase children’s tooth development.
- Panoramic – Gives a view of all the teeth, jaws, nasal area, sinuses, and joints of the jaw.
- Periapical – Offers a view of the whole tooth.
